The Full Moon chart
completely describes the current financial crisis rolling around
planet earth as every single planet in the sky ultimately answers to
Lord Mars found in Scorpio. Scorpio Mars in charge of every planet in
the heavens makes questions around and issues about our perceived
value versus our actual value prominent in all of our minds. Scorpio
always represents and honors what the “Other Guy” will actually pay us
for what we have offered to sell. We may think it is worth a million
bucks but if someone is only going to pay us $10, then ten dollars is
actually all it is worth as far as a Scorpio is concerned.
Scorpio’s get a bad
reputation for doing that very important job of knowing the value of
things. Scorpios make a lot of people angry for telling you what
something you are trying to sell is actually worth. Scorpios tell you
what it is worth to them or the market place, adding, of course, a
mark up so they make a healthy profit on the deal. Scorpios are in
business to make money. That is what Scorpios do. That is why there
are so many Scorpios, and so heavily represented relative to other
signs, in finance, accounting, banking or any way you can make money.
If a Scorpio doesn’t think they can make money on what you are trying
to sell, they simply won’t buy it.
That refusal to
buy is essentially what has been going on the past few weeks in
the stock markets around the world. Scorpios, fixed, focused and
crystal clear even if they appear to the rest of us like dark water in
a swamp, recognized when they didn’t have enough clarity to value
things or make deals. When a bunch of Scorpios don’t know how or if
they are going to make money, they aren’t going move. All the Scorpios
stopped moving. And nothing is going to make a FIXED Scorpio change
their mind other than knowing what they need to know. The Scorpios
were not going to invest or buy what you are selling or loan you money
to do what you want to do until they were clear what their cut was
going to be and knew how much their position was ultimately going to
be worth.
Scorpio’s also get in
trouble for discounting things. They will say to you, “Come on in. Buy
a new car. Drive your new car off the dealership lot. Suddenly, your
brand new car is ‘used’ and worth about $10,000 less than it was only
a minute ago.” Scorpios know all about those rules, tricks and
evaluations. In fact, a group of Scorpios probably invented the
valuation rules! So if EVERY planet in the sky is ultimately answering
to Scorpio, particularly MARS in Scorpio, Can you see why the market
places have been so crazy lately? Mars in Scorpio is not moving unless
the way is clear. Mars in Scorpio knows that his buddy Mercury, also
answering to Scorpio, is retrograde and re-pricing all the deals all
over the place. So Scorpio is not buying nothing! Or at least not
buying until he knows (or figures out) what things are NOW worth. Or
not buying until he gets a guarantee that he’ll get his money back. No
sucker investments for him. He is Scorpio after all.
The Full Moon taking
place mid-afternoon in the chart cast for Washington, D.C. has a
powerful second and eighth house emphasis. The lunation takes place on
Mars’ day during Venus’ hour bringing a war like Scorpio single minded
intense accounting focus to issues of money, values and desires. Mars
in Scorpio rules the Full Moon in Aries found in the second house of
money, valuables. Mars and the Moon want to know what we are
actually worth if you counted up all our portable and
moveable assets, dollar-by-dollar, stock-share-by-stock-share. What is
your cash value in liquid assets?! Venus in Scorpio, answering
ultimately to Mars in Scorpio, rules the unhappy Libra Sun and unhappy
Taurus Vesta ~ the keeper of the home and hearth ~ the housing market
over valuation and over speculation is the “seed” of the meltdown.
Venus is found in the ninth house of foreign trade and what our open
enemies or friends say about us. Vesta is in the second house of what
each house is actually worth. And your house or any house IS worth
something except right now no one is quite sure how much it is worth.
Scorpio Mars is in
charge of stationing Mercury. Mercury is stopped dead in the sky on
this Full Moon and evoking the story from late August and early
September when Mercury entered his shadow. Mercury will start to move
direct, after the full moon. Mercury will head right back over the
source of all the drama and craziness of the past few weeks, asking us
to take yet another look at what has gone on. While Venus rules money
in our pocket and bank account, Mercury rules CURRENCY as well as the
market place, including the stock market, where the stocks
are bought or sold as trading takes place. Mercury rules the art of
trading or not. Mercury rules the art of arranging deals or not.
Mercury rules negotiating loans or not. You have to fill out paper
work to get loan ~ Paperwork is another Mercury ruled area. While
Mercury’s been retrograde for the past three weeks, not a lot of deal
making has taken place especially as all the Scorpios are fixed and
waiting to see what is going to happen.
I bet you are never
going to look at a Mercury Retrograde again with quite the same wide
eyed innocence and naivety!
During Mercury’s
retrograde journey of the past few weeks, we’ve been immersed in a
reevaluation of what things are worth. Mercury, while moving backwards
through Libra, has been answering to both Venus in her detriment in
Scorpio and Mars in Scorpio. Scorpio is all about the value. What are
the various values ~ the intrinsic values, the values in the market
place, the perceived values, the I would buy it for this much values,
the sentimental values, the underlying values, and the marked up
values.
The Libra Sun is in
the Via Combusta ~ of the path of fire. So literally, we’ve all been
set on fire as the planets travel through this section of the zodiac.
Libra Sun rules the seventh house of other people, the general public
and open enemies. The Sun falls in the eighth house, the money of
other people, the public and our open enemies. The Sun will light up
how we are valued by others (or not). The full moon will draw our
focus to issues of other people’s money, debts, things owed, and how
to account for what and who we are.
The good part about
the lunation is Neptune is rising and sitting on the Ascendant. The
bad part about the lunation is Neptune is rising and sitting on the
Ascendant. Neptune makes everything completely crazy blurry, foggy,
lost, hidden or NOT clear as he gets us to feel delusional,
despairing, depressed, rapture based or blinded by desire. Neptune
wants us to drink the poisoned Kool-Aid. So whatever takes place on
this Full Moon, we are NOT going to see clearly. Trust, trust, trust,
please trust, the planets’ messages. When these points get triggered
down the road a bit, we WILL see things much more clearly. And because
Neptune is involved, it will have a strong does of disillusionment,
dishonesty or despair once we actually fall off the pedestal.
Saturn is inconjunct
or quinqunx the North Node, Neptune and Chiron in a SCORPIO (what
else) shaped aspect. Again, the heavens are telling us we have to
adjust and live in the moment. The way forward is NOT clear. The plans
we made are NOT going to happen the way we thought they would. That is
okay. You are going to be okay but you DO need to adjust your vision,
your expectations and your ideas about your reality. Adjust. Adjust.
Adjust.
Beneath it, Saturn in
Virgo, answers, talks with and listens to stationing Mercury ruled by
Venus and then Mars in Scorpio. Saturn is found in the Seventh house
in the lunar chart. Saturn in the seventh house says the gig is up as
far as our friends and open enemies are concerned. They have seen us
through the eyes of Saturn. Capricorn rules the eleventh house of
friends, hopes and dreams as well as money from the authorities or our
career. Capricorn rules how we undermine ourselves and what our open
enemies do behind the scenes. Saturn rules the Aquarius ascendant of
how we appear to others.
Saturn in the seventh
house ruling the first, eleventh and twelfth house is an interesting
placement, especially with Neptune on the Ascendant. It is kind of
like we got very drunk, shot off our mouth at our boss and were
incredibly stupid at the office Christmas party. We made a complete
fool of ourselves. The whole office is talking about our behavior.
What will happen next? Every one is shaking their heads and
whispering. Will the juicy jobs go to some one else some place else?
Will we get passed over for promotion? Will we not get a bonus? Will
we get fired? Every one knows we have a major problem. We’ve been
revealed as the office drunk.
What do you do when
that happens? Why you do your Saturn. You take complete and total
responsibility for the choices you made and you get yourself into the
appropriate rehab. You own up to your stuff. You take responsibility
for your actions. You apologize where needed. Get the 12 steps from
Alcoholics Anonymous and go through them. And then do them. You get
the idea.
Saturn and Pluto are
joining forces. The consequences of our actions, large and small, are
coming home to roost. The karma of the twelfth house has arrived at
the full moon. So face your choices with a brave and open heart. Do
your Saturn.
Lynda Hill’s
Interpretation of the Sabian Image for the Moon in Aries is THE GATE
OPENS TO THE GARDEN OF ALL FULFILLED DESIRES
Commentary:
‘The Gate Opens to the Garden of All Fulfilled Desires’. This is an
image rich with future possibilities. This is such a promising Symbol
- it seems limited only by the imagination. How exciting to think that
one could be so close to having all of their ‘Desires’ fulfilled! This
new place or realm of activity sounds incredibly enticing on many
levels. As the ‘Gate Opens to the Garden’, it leads to potential for
growth and rewards.
Oracle: What
and where is the place you strive for? It seems that you have brought
yourself to what you want, but there may still be obstacles. There may
be fear about just what ‘All Fulfilled Desires’ may actually
represent. Are you ready and willing to accept the rewards? Perhaps
you need to make the deliberate action of opening the ‘Gate’, allowing
entry to where you belong and where you want to be. It can often be
difficult admitting what we really want, especially to ourselves. You
may be used to (or addicted to) being in a difficult or unfulfilling
situation or relationship. Can you cope with the more rewarding
possibilities that lie beyond any barriers? As this ‘Gate’ opens (in
your mind, your emotions or literally) you’ll find you’ve come to a
new threshold, possibly a whole new beginning in life. Often there
needs to be a pause, a reflection of how real or rewarding this new
place is that you are about to enter. Maybe you already have
everything you need – take a look around and ask yourself this.
Perhaps you need to knock first, showing your clear intention of
“wanting in”. Then take that step towards what you want and be
prepared to tend to your ‘Garden of Fulfilled Desires’.
Keywords:
Craving happiness. Gardens and their treasures. Trellises and flowing
plants. Pathways to bliss. Gates and doors. Unlocking and opening
gates and doors. Analyzing your heart’s desires. The grass being
greener on the other side. Rewards and treasures waiting. The allure
of somewhere else. Initiations. Passages to a better life.
The Caution:
Feeling or being shut out. Denying yourself the right to receive just
rewards. Wild ‘goose-chases’. Being afraid of losing everything.
Having everything, but wanting more. Things not being as real as you
imagined. Feeling unhinged. Not having the materials to make dreams
come true.

No one can persuade

Lynda Hill’s
interpretation of the Sabian Image for the Sun in Libra is A CHILD
GIVING
BIRDS A DRINK AT A
FOUNTAIN
Commentary: ‘A
Child’ is seen ‘Giving Birds a Drink at a Fountain’. The ‘Child’ is
carefree and enjoying the freshness of the outdoors and the thrill of
watching the ‘Birds’ having and enjoying the ‘Drink at the Fountain’.
The interaction of the ‘Child’ and the ‘Birds’ can bring joy and
wonder. ‘Birds’ represent spiritual messages, the ‘Child’ is the
physical presence of innocence, naivety and fun, and the water
represents the flow and empathy of emotional energy. This also
symbolizes the joy and trust of innocence as it is a ‘Child’ that
holds the ‘Fountain’ open for the ‘Birds’. This does not mean that an
adult is unable to be trusted. Instead, it shows that we must maintain
the innocence and openness of a ‘Child’ in order to be connected to
and aware of, simple, momentary and more spiritual energies.
Oracle:
‘Children’ demonstrate a generosity of spirit and take delight in
giving to beings less able than themselves. They give freely and
unconditionally. This Symbol shows that we must maintain the innocence
and openness of a ‘Child’ in order to be connected to and aware of,
simple, momentary and more spiritual energies. The problem that can
come out of adulthood is the expectation of return, the “what’s in it
for me” routine. It is when an experience is its own true reward that
we achieve openness and joy in responding to the energies that
surround us everyday. You may feel that yours, or another’s, hopes and
wishes are in need of sustenance or refreshment. Whether this is for
you or for someone else, simple gestures can revitalize situations
beyond your expectations. If you, or another, have the resources to
nourish or to help someone or something, the effort required will be
minimal, but the rewards may be well worth it. Show some unconditional
generosity and enjoy the resulting experience.
Keywords:
Enjoyment experienced in nourishing simple souls. The need for water.
Simple pleasures. Innocence. Birdbaths. Fountains. Water. Innocent
reaching out to others. Taking time out for others. Spontaneous gifts.
Moments of innocence, spontaneity and fun. Putting aside your own
needs. Stopping to help others in need.
The Caution:
Looking for recognition for small deeds. Being condescending to
others. Always feeling like you have to look after others, whether
they are big or small. Interfering with nature. Being naive.
To cultivate kindness
is a valuable part of the business of life. Johnson
A child is a
