The mutual reception between Uranus and Neptune and the transition to the Aquarius Age

How many times have you heard of the next humankind stage, the famous and long awaited Aquarius Age..?

It is a well-known and fiercely debated subject because there is no agreement among its supporters as to when it will begin. Given the current astrological and socio-political situation in the world some say it is on its way, fast approaching.

The current Uranus-Neptune mutual reception is an astrological influence which marks the transition from the previous humanity age, the Pisces, characterized by the religious dogma, spiritual and scientific ignorance of the humankind in general, the Pisces' dark side. Real life and Universe mysteries. Knowledge was reserved for very few mortals.

The spirit of the future age of Aquarius is quite the opposite, characterized by the diffusion of real knowledge to the masses, fraternity and spiritual enthusiasm. Neptune, the Pisces ruler, is actually the dissolution of the Self, while Uranus intensifies the Self and self-awareness.

The Uranus Neptune mutual reception (Uranus in Pisces & Neptune in Aquarius) makes it possible to conciliate these tendencies, serving for a gradual awakening of the Soul of the World to the values of the Aquarius Age.

I have searched for other Uranus-Neptune mutual receptions in the 2000 B.C - 3000 A.D period (5000 years) and the results of this study shows that because of the revolution movement of the two planets (Neptune's revolution around the Sun is about two times bigger than Uranus'), there are periods when this occurs and then a long time when there is no mutual reception between Uranus and Neptune.

So, in the 5000 year period there are only 6 Uranus-Neptune mutual receptions; around 1506, 1670, 1835, 2004, 2170 and 2338. This is no accident because the 1506 - 2338 period of mutual receptions covers exactly the transition period from the age of Pisces to the age of Aquarius. This is the astrological demonstration of the reality of these ages and the fact that we are living right now in the middle of the transition period to the Aquarius age.

The first Uranus-Neptune mutual reception (1506) came shortly after the discovery of the 'New World' by Columbus in 1492. Does this expression 'New World' ring a bell to you ? It is one of the most widely expression used in relation with the Aquarius Age.

The 6 Uranus-Neptune mutual receptions may represent 6 different stages of the gradual transformation of the humanity towards the New Age. In spirituality and esoterism there are always 7 stages of any initiation, 6 of them more or less related with different aspects of the manifested world, and the 7th transcendental or of total accomplishment of the initiation. These 7 stages are related also with the general spiritual meanings of the 7 chakras.

The first level is the material one and the first Uranus-Neptune mutual reception of 1506 is associated with the discovery of new territories, actually whole new continent, to exploit their riches and colonize.

The second level has to do with the social relationship and organization, and so the Uranus-Neptune mutual reception of 1670 will soon determine transformations in the social layers, such as the England's 'Glorious Revolution' of 1688.

The third level is associated with the power of will and initiative, or, from a collective perspective, with the emancipation of the peoples, therefore the third Uranus-Neptune mutual reception of 1835 lead to the revolution of peoples in Central Europe in 1848, the abolition of slavery in America after the Secession War.

The forth level is linked with the harmonious expression of the sentiments, both from a personal or collective point of view, and this is the level we live right now in the current Uranus-Neptune mutual reception. Its effects will be visible a decade or two later, as we have seen in the previous cases. I sincerely hope it will bring during the next years a more compassionate and empathic attitude towards our neighbours and the people will understand that aggression and violence, or the indifference to somebody else's suffering are unacceptable attitudes in a civilized world. This will stop or at least diminish the frequency of wars and be a sure sign of the approaching New Age, the Age of Aquarius.

The next two levels, the fifth and the sixth, will likely be associated with a intuitive understanding of the unity of all life forms in our common evolution on this planet and the deep and total comprehension of the scientific and spiritual laws of the Universe.

As you see, all this transformation, is very much up to us, it may be our destiny as a humanity, but it surely requires effort and time. You are also called to help this wonderful ideal come into being.
